Resident Activities

Every day is Resident day!! Come in for coffee and cookies and chat with us. We love to hear how our family at Avaria is doing. We love hearing about your accomplishments, goals or recent vacations! Don't forget to bring in your dog for a treat!

Starbucks Day- This is quarterly! Around 7:30 am on your way to work we will meet you outside with a smile and a cup of Starbucks coffee and danish! There`s no other way to start your morning off better!

Laundry Day- Every Wednedsay we provide your laundry detergent and softener! Its one less thing you don`t have to worry about besides...... bringing those dirty clothes. Come and meet other residents and have a laundry party!

Kids Club- Every month we have a kids event for all to enjoy. We have movie days, pool parties, arts and crafts, and learning thats fun. We love for parents and family to get involved! Its nice to know other kids in the area and who your children are playing with!

Annual Yard Sale- Its where one mans junk is another mans treasure! We line up with tables and sit around in the sun enjoying meeting other residents and people in the community. We put this event in the local New Mexican to gain a wider involvement and more people to buy your STUFF!

Quarterly Resident Function- We have the community bashes of the century!! We provide food, a band, DJ, games and a GREAT time! We`ve done a Mexican Fiesta, Hawaiian Luau, International night.

Pool Aerobic Class- We just started this in the winter of 06`. Its awesome to have 2 feet of snow outside and to be able to work out in are indoor swimming pool. We bring in a wonderful pool/aerobics instructor and allow ya`ll to work out those muscles!

Holiday Events- Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Halloween! We try do do something special for all occasions. For Easter we do an egg hunt for all to enjoy. On Thanksgiving we deliver packages of food to families in need from resident donations. For Halloween we provide punch and cookies to our little gouhls and boys at Avaria and finally, at Christmas time we have balcony decorating contests where none other than Santa Claus himself comes with gifts for the children and pets!
